I have spent more than 13
years in the green industry. My love of plants started in high
school with my first job working in a retail nursery. Since then, my
love of nature and plants has continued to grow. I decided to attend
Michigan State University to expand my knowledge of horticulture. I
have spent over six years designing, and I have more than five years
of field experience. I have done residential and commercial
projects, and I have been the construction manager for some large
scale projects. This gives me a well rounded, practical knowledge of
landscaping.
I have always had a strong concern for the environment. I enjoy doing projects that impact the environment positively. Some examples of these projects are the stream bank restoration project at Hager Creek and the Smallenburg Park rain garden and wetland construction project. |
